The Acrylic Dust Filter Bag, made from homopolymer acrylic felt, operates effectively at a maximum continuous temperature of 125°C (257°F). This filter bag is ideal for various applications, including:
It exhibits satisfactory chemical resistance to most mineral and organic acids, outperforming polyamides and polyesters in this regard. However, its resistance to alkalis is lower than that of most fibers, with the exception of natural proteins such as silk and wool.
The acrylic filter bag also demonstrates fair resistance to most oxidizing agents and excels compared to polyamides and protein fibers. Overall, it offers excellent resistance to common organic solvents, good acid resistance, high hydrolysis resistance, and decent temperature stability. Although acrylic is more expensive than polyester and polypropylene, its performance justifies the cost.
