TH Bucket Elevator

The TH bucket elevator is designed for the efficient vertical transport of powdery, granular, and small lump materials with low or non-abrasive properties. This circular chain bucket elevator utilizes mixed or gravity discharge and scoop loading, making it ideal for conveying bulk materials with a density of less than 1.5 t/m³, such as coal, cement, gravel, sand, fertilizers, and grains. The TH bucket elevator can handle materials with temperatures up to 250°C.

Main Features

The TD-type bucket elevator is equipped with four types of buckets, each suitable for different materials:

Easy Maintenance and Long Life: Constructed from thickened steel plates, the casing provides excellent rigidity and durability.
High Temperature Capacity: Capable of handling material temperatures up to 250°C, it operates smoothly and reliably at high lifting heights while maintaining low noise levels.
Shell Design: Available in single-channel or double-channel configurations, the improved model offers a lifting capacity over 30% higher than standard models.
Durable Chain: The elevator chain is forged from low-alloy steel and undergoes carburizing and quenching treatment, resulting in high tensile strength and wear resistance.

The TH bucket elevator is an upgraded version of the HL ring chain centrifugal bucket elevator, featuring significant advantages such as large conveying capacity, high lifting height, stable operation, and long service life. The chain wheel incorporates a replaceable rim structure for easy maintenance. The lower section is equipped with a gravity automatic tensioning device that maintains constant tension, preventing slipping or chain disengagement while allowing flexibility to protect the lower shaft and other components from occasional jams.

Applications

The TH bucket elevator is widely used across various industries, including metallurgy, chemicals, building materials, mining, grain and oil, food, feed, plastics, and pharmaceuticals.

Bucket Types

The TH bucket elevator offers two types of buckets:

ZH Type Medium Deep Bucket: Suitable for transporting wet, easily caked, and difficult-to-discharge materials such as wet sand, mold sand, fertilizers, and soda ash.
SH Type Deep Bucket: Ideal for transporting dry, loose, and easily discharged materials like cement, gravel, and coal.

Common Problems and Solutions

When using the TH bucket elevator, common issues may arise, such as “excessive return material” and “buckets running too fast.” Here are some solutions:

Adjust Bucket Running Speed: Set the appropriate bucket running speed based on the type of material being transported. Generally, the speed for powdery and granular materials is 1–2 m/s, for lump materials it is 0.4–0.6 m/s, and for moist materials it is 0.6–0.8 m/s.
Adjust Discharge Blade Position: Ensure that the discharge blade is properly positioned in relation to the bucket discharge point to avoid return material.

This comprehensive overview of the TH bucket elevator highlights its capabilities, features, and specifications, making it an excellent choice for efficient material handling in various industries.
